  1. Local Happenings
    Burnings occur very often from unknown causes and sometimes through carelessness of from a lighted cigarette or match or from a smouldering rag or paper.
    About twenty seven years ago a house burning occurred in kinvara. The origin of the burning was unknown. The smoke and crackling of wood and glass was a terrible sight. Fortunately the burning was confined to one house by the help of willing workers but, the loss of furniture and shop goods was very great and which very little of could be saved.
    All the family including children luckily happened to be out
