house to house gathering money and in the evening they divide the money between them and every boy gets his share of money for himself. On Ash Wednesday the priest blesses ashes and he makes the sign of the cross on the foreheads of all the people who are in the chapel And while he is doing so he says Remember man thou art but dust and into dust thou shalt return". Everyone gets a lock of the ashes to to bring home and we shake a pinch of the ashes on the potatoes when we are sowing them or if some people would not have it they would shake holy water on them. On Christmas night we leave a big Christmas candle lighting on ever window.
