Nature's gems so rich and rare,
As wives they would be dutiful,
As maids they're pure and fair.
She loves our dear old aireland,
She longs to see her free.
So of all the girls in Ireland,
The Loughrea girls for me.

From Garrybreeda to the West.
There's manya lovely pearl,
Sire I don't know which to call the best,
Or whom the prettiest girl;
For beauty beams on every face,
of the many that you see:
If I choose a wife in any place
'Tis a Loughrea girl for me.
