  2. There is a hidden treasure in the wall of Myles Gilrain's house. It is a pot of gold. There is something left minding it. If any person stirs it some one will lose his life. If a cat or a dog jumps across a hidden treasure it is said that someone will lose his life.
    One day a man brought a cat to the place where it was hidden to see if the cat would jump across it and so he did. Through fear and dread no one will look for it.
