  1. One night my Father was coming from a wake. He put his leg on Markie's Bridge and he began whistling. He saw a light coming down the field and he thought it was a man. It wasn't long that the man put his leg on the bridge and crossed to the other side of the road. It was a dead man and my father knew him.
    One night my Grandfather and Grandmother went to a fair in Tralee. They were near the half way when my Grandfather saw a coal of fire on the road. My Grandfather stopped the ass and went to pick up the coal. It gave a jump it gave a jump the second time and the third time it jumped he gave a curse at it. The coal rose up and
