    It is unlucky to pick flowers on May Eve.
    Long ago the smiths would not shoe horses or donkeys on Friday.
    If you give out money on Monday it is said that you will be giving it out for the rest of the week.
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday for sorrow,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses
    And on Saturday no luck at all.
