Terence Geoghegan lives in the townland of Derrien, Aughacashel.

    (continued from previous page)
Under the stones was a pile of human bones. For some reason not known to anyone but himself, Terence Geoghegan took some of them home with him that evening.
As soon as he turned at the foot of his own lane the rooster at his house began to crow, and going up to the house - it was then dusk - lights started to spring up before him on the road.
Next day he brought the bones back, and burned them where he got them.
(The Ganger on the road told me - Jos. Conifry N.T. - that Geoghegan brought the bones home with him, and that he brought them back next day and buried them).
