    There is a lough near Drumrielly Church which is believed to be haunted.

    He built a high wall with holes in it. The wall was to protect himself and his men, and the holes were to put the barrels of the guns out in them, for fear an enemy would come to the island and kill someone.
    One time when Myles the Slasher was going to the shore on his horse he met an Englishman, on another horse. The Englishman flung his sword towards Myles the Slasher, but he caught it in his teeth.
    While Myles the Slasher was killing the Englishman with his sword his horse killed the Englishman's horse.
    Some time after that Myles the Slasher was killed at the bridge of Finea.
    Myles the Slasher is better known in Cavan as Myles O'Reilly. He was prince of Breifne Ua Raghailligh one time.
