  2. Eily Rose Leen (Ballincollig) says:
    A great flood occured in this district in January 1925. The bridge of Potally was broken + was not able to carry the water so the flood broke out over the surrounding land, + came into the house of Mr Patrick Lynch N.T, rising to a height of about 2 feet within. No damage was done as it was newly built + they were not living in it.
