  1. One night about ten years ago there was a very big snow storm. It was fifteen feet deep. It was at the Christmas of 1927. The people could not bring home the Christmas dainties but on their back because no horse or cart could travel but badly. It did a lot of damage. It knocked a lot of houses and killed a lot of stock. When it was all melted it began raining and it rained till it did as much damage as the snow. It flooded all the houses.
