Captain Burns and the schooner B.I.
    i
I'll sing to you of a gallant ship,
That sailed o'er the Western seas,
Whose flag has braved for seventy years
    The battle and the breeze.
When Parnell was only a boy.
She was christened at first the Sarah Ann,
    And later renamed the B.I.
    ii
She tramped the Atlantic far and wide,
She sailed o'er the Pacific Paf too.
She has seen many weathers and many a tide,
And many a cargo and crew.
But though long the day the night will come,
And Ships and Mortals (a) must die.
But the storm at Christmas sealed the doom,
    Of the gallant schooner.
