- Cloonturk is the name of my Townland. it is in the parish of Bornacoola and in the barony of Mohill. There are eighteen families in it and their are fifty-six people in it. Molloy is the most common name in it. It got its name from the meadow where the wild boar used to play. There is only one man over seventy in it and his name is Tom MacGushin and he does not know Irish. There are six houses which are in ruins now in the town-land.
