Saturday is an unlucky day to begin any kind of work that has to be continued, for example, to begin knitting a new stocking.
Friday, especially the first Friday of the month, is a lucky day for removal from an old house to an new one, but they should take special care to leave the cat behind them otherwise they'd have no luck in the new one. Their new neighbours when paying them their first visit must bring them some small present.
