  1. there was three or four of the Briens living together at the Mongan. They were all a little simple, half dull, you understand.
    You used be in their skin every day at home, and if anyone came in they would put an ould bag around them and run like wild geese into the house.
    When they were getting confirmed they were all about 6 feet high, and they didnt now anything.
    the priest asked them questions but they couldnt answer him. He got a kind of vexed with them then : "What do ye be doing at home at night?" says he. "We bes playing pigie" says wan of 'em.
    "What's piggie?" says the priest
    "Well", says she, youd stand there near that hole and I'd stand here at this hole,
