  1. Jimmy Culiner was telling me that a poor ould travelling ould woman used often stay in their house.
    She came this night and they had nowhere to put her only on the kitchen floor. They got a bresnet of straw and spread it on the floor and gave her a few bags to put over her.
    The cock was very sick and they had him in the kitchen. For it in usual when any small animals like [?], or lambs, hens or chickens, would be side to bring them in the kitchen to bring them to.
    Well the ould woman was sleeping with her head towards the dresser and her legs facing towards the fire.
    The cock was knocking against the dresser and making great noise
