    In a certain district near Adamstown about twenty years ago...

    day, and they had been churning for hours and there was no sign of a bit of butter coming. She went out, and after an hour or two she came back again. She came and went a few times and this time she said "In the hand of God haven't yes the churning done yet.
    This time she came, some one of the man caught her and said "You're not leaving this house 'til you put your hand to the churn". She didn't want to do it. But 'twas no use for her to resist it. She had to do it. She went over to it and she took something from her pocket and placed it under the churn, and the minute she gave [?] turn the butter appeared on the Glass.
    They cleared her out of the place, and he was never seen there again.
