- In the domain of Johnstown Castle, near Murraintown there is a big rock called Harerock. Mass was said on that rock during the '98 Rising, but a priest on his keeping.
There is a bridge near the place, and there's the sign of blood on the stones. It was said that some people were murdered there in the Rebellion times.
