    Ulcers:- A paste made of potatoes and buttermilk
    Rash:- An ointment made of unsalted butter and sulphur.
    Sprains:- These were cured by holding the injured limb in a running stream for five minutes each day.
    Thorns:- When these were deeply embedded in the flesh they were extracted by a fox’s tongue.
    Burns:- These were relieved by applying bread soda.
    Boughs:- Flax seed boiled and sweetened with honey and taken in small quantities.
    Hiccoughs:- Take three mouthfuls of Water without breathing or swallow nine drops and throw away the tenth. Another cure is to frighten the person.
