  1. O Lord of youth, while yet our feet untiring, speed towards the goal of our desires, give us the grace of willingness to hearken to older folk, whose zeal outlasts youth's fires.
    O Thou, Who knowest how our souls are eager.
    To be and do the grandest things and best, To waste our strength in one sustained endeavour,
    O draw us aft aside with Thee, to rest.
    Dost thou on a journey sped,
    Pause and kiss the feet that bled,
    Feet that fared so far for thee,
    Ever they nailed Them to the Tree,
    Bruise Feet that yet kept pace,
    With the sinner fleeing from grace,
    Kiss My Feet, then go thy way,
    Danger shall not near three stray,
    When at morn or close of day,
    Thou would set thyself to pray.
    O Eternal Father we offer Thee the precious Blood of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in satisfaction for our own sins,
