  1. The leipreachan is much talked about in this district especially among the children as the parents tell stories of the leipreachan to the young children and they rehearse them to each other. He is supposed to wear a wee red coat, green trousers and a small pointed cap. He wears pointed shoes with bells on them.. He lives under a mushroom and he is about six inches high.
    A man named Kelly who lived in this district years ago, saw or said he saw a leipreachan. It was very early one morning the man said "You are out early this morning my young friend,: the leipreachan said "Not as early as that fellow over there" pointing to the hedge.
