He opened the door and looked out. He saw a lovely coffin and about four dozen of small pipes lying beside it on the street. As he stood in wonder he heard laughing behind him, and looking round, he saw about a dozen of small red men disappear round the corner.
- A long time ago there was an old woman living at Loggad Hill and there was an old man living beside her, and the man had a field of corn behind the old woman's house. This woman had a habit of throwing his hens into the old man's field of corn every morning. The man did not say anything for a while but he was so vexed one morning that he started chasing the hens out of it(continues on next page)
