    Bhí droichead dá dheanamh ar an Ínne tamall maith ó shoin is do loitheadh is do sciobhadh an tuille í feadh na hoidhche. Lá amhaín ghaibh duine ná raibh ró ghiobhánta an treó agus ar seisean leis na fir oibre:-
    “’Sis fada dhom ar an saoghal agus a leithéid seo d’obair
    Ní fheaca riamh fós go dtí indhuí
    An mhuir mhóir a’gabháilt aniar an tuille liag a gábhailt anoir
    Droichead dá dheanamh gan chliath n’feaca riamh fós go dtí induí “
