    Bhí Mícheál Díarmaín agus fir eile ag obair lá imbán Chluain. San tráthnóna glaodhadh isteach cun a gcuid tae. Bhí tae, arán, im, caoir-fheoil-fuar, mustard agus soghluistí eile ar an mbórd. Nuair iompuig an chócaire a drom thosnuig Mícheál ag blaiseadh na soghluistí. Thóg sé lán spiúnóige de gac rud a bhí ar an mbórd. Bhí fear eile inaice leis, agus shín sé an mustard cuig Mícheál.
    "Blas é sin" ar seisean "tá sé go hana-dheas."
    Do sháith Mícheál a spiúnóg síos air, agus do slog sé trí spiúnóg móra síar sar a mhothuig a scórnach ar lasadh.
