There is money hidden in Maddock's field in Listerlin. There is a small rise in the field with an opening in it. This opening is the entrance to an underground passage where the treasure is hidden. A man from Listerlin entered the tunnel with a light to search for it. But a gale arose and quenched the light. He returned home, and no man ever searched for the treasure since.
