  1. The name that the fairy man is known by in my home district is the Leprachaun and the Lurachan. He is always making shoes and he is supposed to be living in the old raths. He wears a small green jacket, a small red cap and very big shoes. He always carries a small hammer and a last. if anybody could catch him he would promise them gold if they would let him go and he would promise to meet him in a certain place and when the person would go there he would not give them the gold at all. He is said to be about twelve or fifteen inches in height.
