    to fight their won spurs should be taken off, and replaced by steel ones. A person should have a lisense before selling these spurs. Paddy Murray a father to the present Danny Murray always sold these steel spurs. The price of them was a guinea a pair.
    The day would be appointed for the cock fighting and before the fight they would all bring their cocks to Paddy Murray to get the spurs on. It would be a great day for them all going to see the cocks fighting.
    Two cocks would be fighting at the time. First a round ring would be made and the men who own the two cocks would get in the ring. When the orders were given the cocks were left on the ground to fight. The fight lasted for about an hour, and sometimes
