    bed with dirty feet.
    Another custom was not to throw out the water that night but leave it in the house till next morning. That is, because one a man was making a cup of tea before going to bed. When he was rinsing the tea pot he went to the door to throw out the water he heard something say "your are after burning me."
    That night a lamb came in and lay down at the fire. This went on night after night until he had to leave his house and that is why most people do not throw out the water at night.
