  1. Old Houses
    The old houses where not like the houses now. Nearly all the old houses were thatched. There were no cement floors in the most of them. They used to bring in good earth and throw it on the floor. They were all small houses. The old people used have the bed near the fire. They used have the hens in a box under the seat. The chimneys the people had in the houses were straw chimneys. They used make baskets and they used not put any bottom in them. They used thatch the baskets with straw and then put one upon the other.
