  2. J. W. Honohan, Derry, Donoughmore was one of the most noted poets in this district. He was born about eighty years ago. In the year nineteen thirty four he died and was buried in Donoughmore in the County of Cork. He composed these following verses:-
    O Donoughmore! O Donoughmore!
    How oft I dream of you!
    And yet as oft my boyhood haunts
    Are pictured to my view.
    The grandeur of your scenery,
