    ago wild cats were very numerous there. There is a large strong river flowing beneath our house it is called the glen river. It is both wide and deep with great floods when it rains as all the water that rises in the mountains for miles around flows into it. Nadd Bheagh river flows into it at Nadd, the Abha na Gora-gCat near our house, Abha na Gráide flows into it at the end of our land. It meets the Black water near Banteer. The glen river is a favourable place for fisher-men throughout the year.
