There was a forge at Creeves in olden times but it is a store at present owned by Mrs. Hanley. Mr. Bourke was the blacksmith there, and then Mr. Barry N.J. replaced him, and he made a store house out of it, and in 1925 this place was bought by Mr. and Mrs. Hanley, and they put meal, flour, pollard and bran into the store.
