    My grandfather is eighty years of age. He is a good english storyteller and tells stories about the deeds he did when he was young and also about the funny old people of that period. The old saying he has is " Sure Pad murrach wouldn't do that".
    The land is very bad. There is hardly any place in Ireland that possesses so many hills, rivers, bogs and a lake. In former years there was great enjoyment at this lake. The boys of the parish used to gather there . They had a small boat and they used to go boating. Annually during the season of winter they skated and danced there.
