- About the year 1921 there was a great storm. There were a lot of trees knocked and the slates were blown from the houses. It lasted for about two days, but there was not much damage done. About the year 1930 there was a flood, and it flooded the lands near the banks of the rivers. It lasted for about a week, and the banks of the river feel in at places, a lot of trees fell into the river also.
During the year 1931 there was a very heavy fall of snow.
