    There was an old school in the parish of Cappagh. It was a protestant one. The people of the parish called it the blue school in order to distinguish it from the other school.
    It was turned into a dwelling house about thirty years ago. There is a family living in it now. They are a protestant family. It is on the side of the road leading to Rathkeale. It is a very high old house.
