    heroes I know about in the Parish but there may be more in it but I do not know of them.
    The greatest jumpers are Jerry and Denny Wrenn who were powerful jumpers. Powerful swimmers are Patsy Beg, Ned Lawlor and Dan Brien. Noted dancers Stephen Creagh and Lars Creagh were very good dancers. Paddy Russell was a good singer and Paddy Cummins was a good storyteller. Jack OGrady was a famous weight thrower. He won the four, three and two stone weights and he also held the world's record for the three of them. He was a very strong man.
