    at the 5th October: - "A Fragment of the precious stone with a host of marvellous martyrs, Sinech, Fergnaes daughter of Cruachain Maige Abnae. That the old Church which stood there in former times was dedicated to this saint can be seen by the following extract from Archibishop Christopher Butler's "Visitation Book". 1752 - July 9th - J.J.B. - Ordinarly visited ye chapple of Ballingarry dedicated to ye Assumption of ye Blessed Virgin, in good repair wherein he makes use of two plate chalices of his own acquisition, with three vestments whereof one is of white satin laced with silver, stole, maniple, etc. al new; the other green brocade, but old the third a good stripe satin with white and green stripe, two good albs and amiets, six good altar towels
