    There was an old woman living in Tinakilly. She always had a great culm fire.

    There was an old woman living in Tinakilly. She always had a great calm fire. She used to sleep in a little room in front of the kitchen. The fairies used to come in hurling around every night and the woman used not mind them. After a while they started throwing chairs at one another. The woman used to shout out to them. If you conduct yourselves you can stay but if not out you go.
