    The Autumn is come:
    The roses are fading,
    Their beauty is gone
    In "Ocean of Time" just
    A year and a day,
    One sunk in its depth since
    I wandered this way

    What change a year and

    What old friends departed!
    What new ones made out!
    What faces familiar!
    What voices most dear,
    Are vanished and husked
