    Jackdaws are said to do peculiar things Mr English of Knockavilla was telling me a story about one that built a nest in his chimney. After the young birds had flown, he thought he would knock down the nest. That morning when he was getting up suddenly - When he pulled down the nest he found a spoon and several other small metal articles in it.
