    Long ago there were tinkers names the Doyles. They used to have old carts and asses for going around. They used to sell laces and tie pins. They used to camp by the side of the road and they used to sleep under the cart at night. There were also O'Briens going around. They were from Mayo and they used to be going from house to house looking for tea or sugar or bread. They used to stay in any old house about the place. There were also others called the Mac Mahons and they used to be begging also. They used to make their camps
