  1. (continued from previous page)
when the bride is going to the church she goes in a car of her own and the bridegroom also in a car of his own. The priest usually cuts the wedding cake in the church. The friends of the bride and bridegroom pay to get a piece of the wedding cake. When they are leaving the church confetti and rice are thrown on them to bring them good luck. There is a wedding feast held in the bride's house on the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding the bride and bridegroom go on their honeymoon. When they are coming home the people give them a great reception.
This is a very old proverb
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
and Saturday no day at all.
