    V
Says the Sergt. to Masterson "will you go out
And try will you small any drivers about",
"As you don't care for sport, keep the cattle in view
And we'll keep up the dance for an hour or two,
For we're dying with loneliness here in Lickbla".
    VI
Then Patsie went out and he walked the plains round
Neither bullock nor dirver was there to be found
He retraced his steps, back, twice as fast as he went
With the news that was sure to bring discontent
To the dancers that rattled their jigs in Lickbla.
    VII
Says the Sergeant to Patsie "You are looking queer"
"No wonder" says Patsie, theres no cattle there,
From the road to the river I couldn't find ont
And I heard coming back that they're three hours gone
In a week you may gather them all back to Lickbla".
    VIII
"Come boys, get your helmets surmounted with spikes."
"Young fellows, like lightening jump on to your bikes,
And scour the country from Fore to Finea
Each one stripped his teeth and prayed loud "that I may"
Get my hands on those imps that are driving Lickbla.
