- (continued from previous page)there is a place called Poolnahasog which is supposed to be haunted. The old people said that a puck of Friezes and a sack of noggins rolled up and down the road by this place every night for ten o'clock to eleven o'clock.
In other parts of the district there are other places names such as Corrnoonann Hill in Michael Ham's land of Walshestown where a big bull ring is said to be.
A place called Crookbawn is in Patrick Tuit's land.
Another place, is called "Lugnagulla" in Mr Quinn's land of Portloman.
