    The reason for this is that there was grease in the hat from a blessed candle.
    In a field convenient to Killpark near Mr Ham's land in Walshestown near a fort there was a pond. A woman named Mary McDermot came for ducks that were on the pond. When she came near the pond she was taken up into the air. She was carried round Walshestown and her cries could be heard for miles. The people turned out to rescue her.
