    public road to Tullaghan and Loc Owel. It comes to the main road opposite Fagan's new Cottage near Ardonagh hill. The Weirs have it closed to the public now.
    There is also an old road leading from Henry Mills Johnstown to Edward McCormacks Monroe Frewin. It was made in the famine year. It is now very little used except by the land owners adjoning it. It is called the Slanebeg Portloman road.
