  2. Boots are repaired in my district by a young man named George Mitchell. He is not a shoemaker by trade but repairs boots for neighbours. He is the only one that does so in my district. The scarcity of shoemakers is due I suppose to the fact that there are boot factories in Ireland now. Up to the present clogs are worn by some old people. In Summer the children do not wear boots but I
