  2. Long ago there lived a man in this country named Willie Byrne. At night he would go to ramble and bring his dog with him.
    One night as he was coming home a short cut by the edge of a lake a wicked bull dashed out of the lake. He knocked the man down but the dog jumped on the man's back.
