  1. Once upon a time there was a boy named William Quinn of Lackan which is about a mile from Edgeworthstown, County Longford.
    One morning his Mother sent him walking into Edgeworthstown for some messages, and he forgot one of the messages, he was then sent in to Edgeworthstown again walking, and this time he brought out the wrong thing, and he was sent walking in again, and this time he could not get it.
    When he came home and told his mother that he could not get it, she sent him walking into Longford which is about seven miles from Lackan, and he brought out the wrong thing again, and he was sent walking into Longford again, and this time he brought out the right thing. He did all this walking, which was about 84
