  1. Long ago two girls were living in Rhine, which is in County Longford. One night a man came to the door and asked for lodgings, they said he could stop for that night.
    While he was sitting at the fire he fell asleep, the girls saw that he had a knife and a revolver in his pocket, they got a candle and poured candle-grease down his neck and killed him.
    About two o'clock a man came and called "Job, Job" he got no answer because the girls had the man killed so he went away.
