  1. One time there was a woman and her servant living in a house all by themselves.
One evening about four o'clock the woman went out and left the maid in the house and a dog to mind her, the woman told the maid not to open the door for anyone. About an hour later a knock came to the front door when the maid went to the front door the knock was at the back door and when she went to the back door it was at the front door. She then went upstairs and looked out on the window to see who it was and she saw a red man full of thorns.
